I am a freelance florist and I hold certificates NVQ I, II & III in floristry. I was a silver medalist in 1991 in the interflora junior of the year competition in District 2 (south east of England) and gold medalist in 1992 in the same competition. I worked in the West End of London for about 3 years and have made many arrangements for famous people including Jamie Lee Curtis, The Princess Royal, Gloria Hunniford and Paul Humphries.  I have also worked at Highgrove House for the Princes Trust.

WEDDINGS

I tailor to your requirements to your personal specifications. My work can include flowers for the whole bridal party, from bouquets, headdresses, buttonholes and corsages. I also arrange flowers for the church or civil ceremony and table arrangements and pedestals for your reception. For weddings there is no additional charge for the delivery and set up of your reception flowers. I can deliver buttonholes to grooms address to save the wedding party having to run around on the morning of the wedding, as it can be a very hectic time. I am there to help and to make sure your wedding day goes as smoothly as possible.

My consultations are carried out in the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you, could be evenings or weekends, I find that this is a more relaxed and personal touch to your wedding arrangements. It is advisable to have designs of your weddings dresses and colour swatches available for me so I can design a bouquet that compliments your dresses and to enable me to match the colour of flowers exactly, as there are so many different varieties to choose from.

FUNERALS 

With funerals I carry out consultations in the comfort of your own home as this is more relaxed in a time of bereavement. I have a portfolio of work which can be a useful guide in choosing your tributes. I am able to deliver these tributes to either the funeral directors or a chosen address.

BUSINESS CONTRACTS

I make flower arrangements for local businesses on a regular basis, for reception areas and tables in restaurants. I also decorate function rooms for special occasions and I decorate local businesses for Christmas and other occasions throughout the year.

PERSONAL FUNCTIONS

I carry out work for personal functions which could either be held in your own home or in a separate venue like a village hall or function room.
