During the transfer process your VHS film is digitalised which eliminates nearly all of those pops, flashes and crackles that are so evident on all VHS video films.

The advent of DVD players is rapidly making VHS video recorders obsolete, which is eliminating the PLAY source for all of those films.

DVD's are much easier to store and keep ordered due to their smaller size when compared to VHS video.
